Abstract:This paper discloses computer simulation results of thermos-hydraulic processes in cooling channels of carbon dioxide turbines used in oxy-fuel power production facilities. Stream cooling systems may be modified by the installation of shadowing ribs on the pressure and suction sides of a hollow blade and this intensifies heat transfer and reduces the cooling agent flow.
