Numerical Simulation of Reproduction of the Development Conditions of the Next Trichel Pulse in Negative Corona

Abstract:Numerical simulations of the negative corona at a constant applied voltage in the Trichel pulse mode are carried out for different contents of an electronegative gas component. The dependences of the total current peak value and the time interval between pulses on the values of the applied voltage and the content of electronegative components are obtained. The results are somewhat explained using simplified models.
