Numerical simulation of the flow around circular cylinder with slits

Abstract: The flow around a cylinder with slits has been investigated numerically. The main purpose of this study is to show the effect of the slits on the vortex detachment behind a cylinder smooth, and stationary using the finite element approach to solve the fluid governing equations system at Re = 200.
