Abstract:Based on the results of a thermal equilibrium, temperature and velocity distributions of the waste heat boiler were simulated. Results show that the gas flow doesn't rush to the top intensely when the first baffle-board is set in the front of the radiation chamber. Flue gas is so strongly disturbed by the second baffle-board that its residence time is increased. These two baffle-boards enhance the heat transfer intensity in the radiation chamber. The relative error of simulation results to experimental is less… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
