Numerical simulations towards optimizing the burner design for efficient staged pressurized oxy-coal combustion.

Abstract: Staged pressurized oxy-coal combustion (SPOC) – a technology developed at Washington University at St. Louis (WUSTL) – is nowadays a promising tool for low-cost/emissions, high-efficiency power generation.
