Abstract: This paper presents a numerical study of the complex multiphase flow of air, vapor, and particles in an innovative gas cyclone called CAP cyclone. The air–vapor flow is modeled as a mixture by the Reynolds‐averaged Navier‐Stokes equations with the mixture species transport and the Eulerian wall film model using FLUENT.
