Abstract:This study introduces a Solar Energy-Powered Embedded Pipe Envelope System (SEPES) designed to enhance indoor thermal comfort and reduce heating loads during the heating season. To achieve this objective, a dynamic simulation model coupling a SEPES and building thermal environment was established under the TRNSYS environment. Based on the model, a case analysis was conducted to investigate the operational characteristics of the system during the heating season in a rural building in Beijing. The results indica… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
