Abstract

NANDA 1 is always coming up with new diagnoses, but how many of us have ever used the nursing diagnosis Chronic Sorrow? I know this diagnosis well-I've been living with it for twenty-three years. I am an RN, a nurse educator and the mother of a son with mental retardation.My son is adopted.
