Nutritive Evaluation of Protein from Anaerobically Digested Poultry Wastes as a Dietary Ingredient Replacer for Channel Catfish, Ictalurus punctatus

Abstract: Two experiments were conducted to determine the effects of feeding protein derived from anaerobically digested poultry wastes on the performance of channel catfish. In the first experiment, poultry waste protein (PWP) was used as a substitute protein source at 5, 10, 20, 30, and 40% levels on an isonitrogenous and isocalorific basis, and compared to a control (0% PWP) soybean meal/fish meal‐based practical diet.
