Abstract: Introdução: o câncer é caracterizado pelo crescimento anormal das células, sendo considerado uma doença crônica não transmissível. Essa disfunção implica diretamente na qualidade de vida do paciente, devido a associação da doença com a desnutrição, que aumenta o tempo de hospitalização do enfermo e reduz a resposta ao tratamento.
