Abstract: ResumoEste trabalho apresenta o estudo da condição humana elaborado por Doyal e Gough (1994), fazendo interface com a Psicologia Social Crítica. Esses autores propõem uma compreensão objetiva e universal das necessidades humanas, e incluem, na esfera dos direitos sociais, que devem ser providos pelo Estado, necessidades que extrapolam a necessidade material.
