Observable interface behaviour and inheritance

Abstract: This paper formalizes the observable interface behaviour ofopensystems for a strongly-typed, concurrent object-oriented language with single-class inheritance. We formally characterize the observable behaviour in terms of interactions at the program-environment interface.
