“…Note that the decay modes with B c and B ′ c are in accordance with d 4,3 from H(6) and H (15), respectively, such that it is possible that the Cabibbo-allowed Ω ++ ccc → Ξ + c D + decay can be more accessible to the experiments.…”

“…For example, the existence of the Ξ + cc state was once reported by the SELEX collaboration [11,12], but not confirmed by the other experiments [13][14][15][16]. Until very recently, LHCb has eventually found the doubly charmed Ξ ++ cc state at a mass of (3621.40 ± 0.72 ± 0.27 ± 0.14) MeV [4], which is reconstructed as the two-body Ξ ++ cc → Σ ++ c (2455)K * 0 decay with the resonant strong decays of Σ ++…”

“…Recently, the discovery of and searches for double charm baryons have been reported by various experimental collaborations [1][2][3][4]. One is convinced that more and more doubly heavy baryons will be observed in the near future.…”

“…The lifetime was stated to be shorter than 33 fs at the 90% confidence level, and SELEX concluded that 20% of all Λ þ c baryons observed by the experiment originated from Ξ þ cc decays, implying a relative Ξ cc production rate several orders of magnitude larger than theoretical expectations [11]. Searches from the FOCUS [46], BABAR [47], and Belle [48] experiments did not find evidence for a state with the properties reported by SELEX, and neither did a search at LHCb with data collected in 2011 corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 0.65 fb −1 [49]. However, because the production environments at these experiments differ from that of SELEX, which studied collisions of a hyperon beam on fixed nuclear targets, these null results do not exclude the original observations.…”
