“…Absorption spectrum of PdP in TEOS:VTEOS bulk contains bands at 386 (Soret), 502 (Q 01 ) and 534 (Q 00 ) nm and is close to PdP absorption in DMF. [9,13,15] Fluorescence spectra of the obtained solid-state films and bulks coincide with the fluorescence spectra of PdP in DMF solution (Figure 2). Phosphorescence spectrum of PdP in gel-film and volume matrix (λ ex =370 nm) under argon is presented by 0-0-band with maximum at 647 nm and vibrational satellite at 716 nm (Figure 3), that is close to phosphorescence spectrum of PdOEP.…”

“…[41] For metallocomplexes of symmetrically substituted porphyrin derivatives as well as for metallocomplexes of unsubstituted porphin the splitting value exceeds a few tens of wavenumbers. [41][42][43][44][45][46] As it was found in case of the H 2 TMP complex with Zn II and Pd II ions, lifting in the degeneracy of two lowest singlet electronic [42,43] The amount of the ∆E(S 2 -S 1 ) splitting due to this asymmetrical substitution was found to be as high as 260 and 215 cm -1 for the former and latter cases, respectively, being almost one order of magnitude larger than in the case of symmetrically substituted derivatives. Therefore, two separate distinct bands belonging to the S 1 and S 2 states can easily be observed in the absorption and fluorescence spectra of metallocomplexes of asymmetrically substituted porphyrin macrocycles.…”
