Abstract:is a TeV gamma-ray source discovered by H.E.S.S., and shows a shell-like morphology in TeV band. Since no associated supernova remnant (SNR) is observed in other wavelengths, it is classified as a SNR candidate. In this work, we analyze the GeV gamma-ray emission from HESS J1614-518 using more than 12 years of Fermi Large Area Telescope data. We refine the morphology of the GeV emission. We find that the GeV spectrum is harder than previous work, and the GeV spectrum connects smoothly with the TeV spectrum of … Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
