Observations of transoceanic movements by Nankeen Kestrels Falco cenchroides and a catalogue of terrestrial birds interacting with offshore vessels in Bass Strait, Australia

Abstract: How terrestrial avifauna interact with offshore infrastructure is relatively understudied. The migratory pathway and movements over Bass Strait (an expanse of ocean between Victoria and Tasmania, Australia) for many terrestrial species remains poorly known.
