“…Owing to the complexity of environmental metabolism, the investigations of tritium incorporation were divided into numerous themes including: the influence of HT releases (Amano et al, 1995), the formation and retention of tritium (deuterium could be used as analogue) at various growth stages, also taking into account the difference of metabolism between night and day (Atarashi-Andoh et al, 2002;Momoshima et al, 2006), its translocation to edible parts (Diabate and Strack, 1997). In addition, several papers also deal with modelling either to compare observed and predicted values (Davis et al, 2005;Keum et al, 2006;Ota et al, 2007) or for tritium dose estimates (DeVol and Powell, 2004;Hisamatsu et al, 1987;König, 1990).
