Abstract: Australia, like many developed countries is experiencing an obesity crisis, with maternal obesity associated with increased risks of fetal and maternal complications. For obstetric sonographers, there are technical challenges to exclude a fetal anomaly or pregnancy complication in a woman with obesity.
