Obstructive sleep apnea and retinal microvascular characteristics: a brief review

Abstract: Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) causes intermittent nocturnal hypoxemia and is associated with obesity, diabetes, inflammation, endothelial dysfunction, and hypertension, possibly leading to micro-and macro-vascular disease.
