Obtaining a high-nickel-alloyed layer on the surface of low-carbon steel using monometallic powders and laser processing

Abstract: The paper studies deposition of a highly nickel-alloyed corrosion-resistant layer on the surface of a low-carbon economically alloyed steel. The formation of the layer is carried out in two stages – at the first stage, a precursor coating is applied by cold spraying, and at the second, an alloyed layer is formed on the surface by laser.
