Obtaining Uniform High-Strength and Ductility of 2A12 Aluminum Alloy Cabin Components via Predeformation and Annular Channel Angular Extrusion

Abstract: A 2A12 aluminum alloy component with uniform high-strength and ductility was developed via predeformation (one-pass repetitive upsetting extrusion) and annular channel angular extrusion (ACAE). Moreover, the microstructure evolution and age-hardening behavior were investigated.
