Abstract:Oral communication abstractsage (RR: 1.07; p < 0.0001), diabetes (RR: 2.84; p < 0.0001), and poverty >30% (RR: 1.5; p = 0.043) were independent predictors of death in pregnant women with COVID-19. Conclusions: Our study shows that co-morbidities and social factors worsen the course of COVID-19 during pregnancy. It is critical for Mexico and Latin America to develop health strategies to tackle the alarming increase in the maternal death rate.
