Occupational therapy in the treatment of addictive behaviours

Abstract: This article focuses on the application of occupational therapy in the treatment of people with addictive behaviours. Furthermore it looks at how using a framework for service organization promoted the effective integration of occupational therapy into the multidisciplinary treatment provision. This is illustrated with a specimen group programme and two case studies.
