Occurrence of new species of mealybug on cotton fields in the states of Bahia and Paraíba, Brazil

Abstract: The cotton mealybug, Phenacoccus solenopsis Tinsley (Hemiptera: Pseudococcidae) has been reported occurring in several countries causing severe losses in economically important crops, including cotton.
