Oceanography of the Grand Banks region of Newfoundland : March 1971 - December 1972 / Robert Scobie, Richard H. Schultz.

Abstract: Results of oceanographic surveys off the Grand Banks of Newfoundland from April thi-ough June 1972 in support of International Ice Patrol and twelve occupations of Standard Sections A1-A4 are discussed. Analysis includes vertical temperature and salinity profiles for each section as well as dynamic-topographic charts for eacli Ice Patrol survey. Normal dynamic topography charts of the Grand Banks region are updated. Results are similar to those obtained by Soule (1964). Finally there is a discussion of the oce… Show more

“…Carboxylic acid groups can be readily labeled with two 1110 atoms through acid-catalyzed 16 0 exchange and oilier procedures [1). When the C-terminus of a peptide is [ 160 2]-labeled, C-terminal fragment ions in the conventional product ion spectrum can be identified by comparison with the corresponding spectrum of the unlabeled peptide [2). C-terminally (180 2 )labeled peptides were used in this laboratory during studies of complex rearrangement and intraionic isotope exchange processes involving the C-terminal oxygens [3][4][5][6].…”

“…Agents can also be boosted 180 days after they have been vaccinated, if their age group was eligible. [ 64 ] Boosting restored an agent's vaccine efficacy multipliers to their original values. TRACE‐Omicron investigated policy questions regarding how many agents needed to be vaccinated and boosted before the Omicron wave, as well as the estimated efficacy of a faster distribution of available doses.…”
