Abstract:Pemphigus vulgaris (PV) is an autoimmune disorder affecting the skin and mucous membranes. The condition may be confused with a number of disorders, including Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS), toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN), and erythema multiforme (EM), all of which are life-threatening.
