“…In the present study, we report a male to female ratio of 1:1.2 (45.8% males and 54.17% females). The age of presentation of conjunctival melanoma is usually in the fifth decade and it is only exceptionally observed in patients under 20 years of age, data which are in agreement with our results, with only one patient presented being under 20 years old (9,10) . These tumors may arise de novo or from a pre-existing nevus, or more frequently from a PAM with proportions highly variable among different studies.…”
