Abstract:Los aeglídeos son crustáceos dulceacuícolas, siendo importantes en la cadena trófica para diversos organismos invertebrados y vertebrados. Un espécimen de Aegla spinosa Blond-Buckup & Buckup, 1994, proveniente del interior del município de Bocaina do Sul, estado de Santa Catarina, fue llevado al Laboratorio de Parasitología y Zoología de la Universidad del Planalto Catarinense (UNIPLAC).
