Oestrogen treatment enhances the sensitivity of hormone-resistant breast cancer cells to doxorubicin

Abstract: Recently, it was shown that the resistance of breast cancer cells to growth-stimulating oestrogen action may be accompanied with the paradoxical tumour sensitization to oestrogen apoptotic action.
