“…Entsprechend scheint es auch für die Journalismusforschung bedeutsam, Automatisierung der Kommunikation nicht nur mit Blick auf Automatisierung im Journalismus zu betrachten, sondern auch mit Blick auf Automa-tisierung in der Umwelt des Journalismus, die offensichtlich darauf ausgerichtet ist, die journalistische Aufmerksamkeit für "Öffentlichkeitsresonanz" (Fürst 2013; Fürst und Oehmer 2018) auszunutzen. Notwendig ist hierfür eine analytische Sensibilität für die wechselseitigen Beobachtungsverhältnisse zwischen publizistischen Medien und sozialen Medien, wie sie auch in der öffentlichkeitstheoretischen Diskussion um einen digitalen Strukturwandel der Kommunikation thematisiert werden (Eisenegger et al 2021;Fürst 2021a;Jarren 2021).
