“…In the present study, we reported on a large series of patients subjected to phlebectomy with or without sclerotherapy for the treatment of foot varicose veins, with follow-up at 7, 30, and 90 days. As described in previously published literature on the topic, 6,8,9 minimal complications were observed, and all were resolved within 90 days, except for one case of edema. In fact, edema was a common complication (6.9% of 188 feet) in our series.…”
