Offline programming and simulation help Boeing use giant automated riveter on C‐17 aircraft

Abstract: Describes the extensive use of simulation while planning the programming of a very large robot riveter. The riveter is used to assemble the skin panels and fuselage frames of the Boeing C‐17 Globemaster III aircraft.
