Oilseeds in Russia at the beginning of the twentieth century

Abstract: In human life, oilseeds (dry matter contains vegetable fats in a sufficiently large amount as a nutrient) play an important role. Vegetable oil used for food and for technical purposes is squeezed out of the seeds of oilseeds. Pressed products (cake, meal) they are an excellent source of enrichment of concentrated feeds with high-quality protein for animal husbandry. Also, pressed products are used in the food industry.
