It was stated that, in order for the process of reading, which has an important role in the life of an individual, to be successful, the reader should have an adequate and sound development of language, one of the language-based skills forming the reading process is oral language skills; the foundations of the language-based skills are laid and rapidly shaped in early childhood, which is a preparatory process for successful reading (Güldenoğlu, Kargın & Ergül, 2016;Güldenoğlu et al, 2019).
