On generalised D1-D5 near horizons and their spectra

Abstract: There has been considerable recent interest in type II string compactifications on AdS3×S3×M4 due to both new progress in the AdS3/CFT2 correspondence and an independent search for new $$ \mathcal{N} $$ N = (4, 0) supergravity solutions. In this work we report a new family of small $$ \mathcal{N} $$ N = (4, 0) preserving warped AdS3×S3×CY2 compactifications of type IIB supergravity. The S3 in this family is non trivially fibered over the CY2… Show more

“…Some relevant recent examples include the results on AdS 2 [4], where the authors found a new family of type IIB solutions, [5], where the authors studied a type IIA supergravity on AdS 2 × S 3 × CY 2 × I ρ and proposed a dual superconformal quantum mechanics (SCQM), and [6] where the spin-2 fluctuation of an infinity family of type IIB solutions is studied. Considerable progress was made on AdS 3 in the past few years, for example [7][8][9][10][11]. On AdS 4 we can mention [12] for a study of type IIB N = 2 supergravity solutions, in [13] the authors study three type IIB supergravity solutions, where two of them are Abelian and non-Abelian T-duals of a type IIA background, and the third one is a new solution, in [14] they study an infinite family of N = 4 type IIB backgrounds on AdS 4 showing the holographic dual.…”
