On Outage Probabilities With Correlated Locations, Channel, and Traffic in Wireless Networks
Udo Schilcher,
Stavros Toumpis
Abstract:In this letter we derive novel expressions for the joint outage probability at two time slots of a wireless network under correlated interferer locations, channel gains, and traffic. The result is given as a function of the lag between the two slots, the channel coherence time, and the traffic burst length. Furthermore, we analyze the success probability of a transmission following a single outage, an important metric when, e.g., analyzing retransmission or cooperative relaying protocols.
