On some remarkable records of Chilopoda (Geophilomorpha, Lithobiomorpha) from Turkmenistan

Abstract

The following taxa are new to the fauna of Middle Asia and Turkmenistan: the family Dignathodontidae Cook, 1896, the genus Dignathodon Meinert, 1870, the species D. microcephalus (Lucas, 1846), the genus Henia C.L. Koch, 1847, the species H. bicarinata (Meinert, 1870), the genus Clinopodes C.L. Koch, 1847, the species C. escherichii (Verhoeff, 1896), and the species Lithobius viriatus Sseliwanoff, 1881. All the records are illustrated and mapped.
