On the combined influence of Reynolds number and cylinder spacing for flow around a row of heated square cylinders

Abstract: The characteristics of forced convection heat transfer across a row of heated square cylinders kept in side‐by‐side arrangement are numerically investigated to examine the combined effects of Reynolds number and cylinder spacing for Ri = 0, 60 ≤ Re ≤ 160, Pr = .71, and s/d = 1.0–8.0, where the space between cylinder surfaces is s and the cylinder size is d.
