On theφK0K¯0γdecay

Abstract: The branching ratio of @-KOPoy is reexamined, considering the chain reactions @-+ K + K --fo(ao)+ y-KO+PO+ y.In a recent Letter, ' Nussinov and Truong have calculated the radiative decay $--+ K O + K O + y with K O K O in the S state. They find the branching ratio In this Rapid Communication, we present a critical review of their calculations. We have found analytical errors in Ref. 1. Furthermore, we will comment on the assumptions involved.Following Ref. 1, we use the model consisting of the following chain … Show more

“…1(c-e) results from minimal coupling and ensures gauge invariance of the pion-loop amplitudes. Similar loop integrals were evaluated by Lucio and Pestiau [15] using dimensional regularization and their calculations were confirmed by Close et al [16]. Oller [17] used their result in his calculation of the rate of the radiative decay φ → K 0K 0 γ through an intermediate…”

“…Radiative decays V → PP γ(where V denotes vector mesons, P denotes pseudoscalar mesons) have attracted much interest in past decade [2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10]. The study of this kind of rare decays is important in hadron physics, both because it is intimately related to the QCD-inspired descriptions of the dynamics of mesons and because it has been urged by experiments.…”
