On the Stark broadening of Al IV spectral lines in stellar atmospheres
M.D. Christova,
M.S. Dimitrijević
Abstract:The influence of Stark broadening on Al IV spectral lines in the visible part of the spectrum of A-type star and DO white dwarf atmospheres is analyzed. It has been demonstrated that it is negligible for considered spectral lines in the case of A-type stars and dominant in the case of DO white dwarfs. Also, regularitis of Stark widths and their temperature dependence have been discussed.
