On the terminology of the genitalia structures of lichen moths (Lepidoptera: Erebidae: Arctiinae: Lithosiini) with some references to Noctuidae

Abstract: The present paper briefly describes the Lithosiini genitalia and discusses their terminology. Twelve new terms are introduced: medius, introrsum, conjuga, collis, iuba, jugum basalis, jugum distalis, arcus, intersaccular bridge, lamella centralis, clasper region, and elasma for the male genitalia, and diverticulum bursae for the female genitalia.
