On the unitary part of isometries in commuting, completely non doubly commuting pairs

Abstract

In the paper we describe a unitary extension of any isometry in a commuting, completely non doubly commuting pair of isometries. Precisely we show that Hilbert space of such an extension is a linear span of subspaces reducing the extension to bilateral shifts.
