A control method based on real-time operational reliability evaluation for space manipulator is presented for improving the success rate of a manipulator during the execution of a task. In this paper, a method for quantitative analysis of operational reliability is given when manipulator is executing a specified task; then a control model which could control the quantitative operational reliability is built. First, the control process is described by using a state space equation. Second, process parameters are estimated in real time using Bayesian method. Third, the expression of the system's real-time operational reliability is deduced based on the state space equation and process parameters which are estimated using Bayesian method. Finally, a control variable regulation strategy which considers the cost of control is given based on the Theory of Statistical Process Control. It is shown via simulations that this method effectively improves the operational reliability of space manipulator control system.

Η εξερεύνηση κι η εκμετάλλευση του διαστήματος απαιτεί την ενίσχυση των ρομποτικών υποδομώνστην τροχιά της Γης αλλά και ακόμα παραπέρα. Πολλές διαστημικές υπηρεσίες όπως η NASA, η ESAκαι η JAXA έχουν ήδη εντάξει δραστηριότητες Τροχιακών Υπηρεσιών (ΤΥ) στα μελλοντικά τους σχέδια.Στον πυρήνα των ΤΥ βρίσκεται το πρόβλημα της προσέγγισης και σύλληψης/πρόσδεσης Στόχου(δορυφόρου ή διαστημικού θραύσματος).Η σύλληψη και πρόσδεση Στόχου από ένα Διαστημικό Ρομποτικό Σύστημα (Κυνηγό), ο οποίοςαποτελείται από μια μη σταθερή βάση και έναν ή περισσότερους βραχίονες, είναι μια ιδιαίτερααπαιτητική δραστηριότητα, λόγω της δυναμικής σύζευξης βάσης-βραχιόνων. Επιπλέον, αυτές οιδιαδικασίες είναι συνδεδεμένες με κρούσεις καθώς δύο σώματα έρχονται σε επαφή. Οι προκλήσειςείναι ακόμα μεγαλύτερες όταν ο Κυνηγός και ο Στόχος έχουν συγκρίσιμες μάζες. Στην περίπτωσημάλιστα της παθητικής πρόσδεσης, γνωστής και ως Κρουστική Πρόσδεση (impact docking), οιδυνάμεις που αναπτύσσονται κατά την κρούση είναι μέρος της διαδικασίας. Μη επιτυχείς κρούσειςμπορεί να απομακρύνουν Κυνηγό και Στόχο, ή να προκαλέσουν ζημιές σε κρίσιμα υποσυστήματα τους.Για τους ανωτέρω λόγους, χρειάζεται προσεκτική μελέτη των κρούσεων σε περιβάλλον έλλειψηςβαρύτητας και ειδικότερα απαιτείται: (α) επαρκής μοντελοποίηση της διαδικασίας, (β) μελέτη τηςεπίδρασης των αδρανειακών παραμέτρων και των παραμέτρων ενδοτικότητας και (γ) σχεδιασμός καιέλεγχος μιας αποτελεσματικής προσέγγισης Στόχου σε Κυνηγό.Σε αυτή τη διατριβή αρχικά μοντελοποιείται και αναλύεται η κρούση δύο σωμάτων στο διάστημα.Περιγράφονται οι περιορισμοί των υπαρχόντων βισκοελαστικών μοντέλων, και αναπτύσσεται έναπρωτότυπο βισκοπλαστικό μοντέλο που δείχνει πολύ καλή συσχέτιση με δημοσιευμένα πειραματικάαποτελέσματα. Το μοντέλο αυτό γενικεύεται σε εφαρμογές με επίγειες κρούσεις και μέσωπαραδειγμάτων και προσομοιώσεων, δείχνεται ότι το μοντέλο που αναπτύχθηκε είναι ιδιαίτερα χρήσιμοσε ρομποτικές εφαρμογές. Για συστήματα που έρχονται σε επαφή, παρουσιάζονται οι ισχύουσεςπροσεγγίσεις μοντελοποίησης κατά την Κρουστική Πρόσδεση. Με βάση αυτές, αναπτύσσεται μιαγενικευμένη προσέγγιση μοντελοποίησης συστημάτων σε συνθήκες έλλειψης βαρύτητας, ενώ με τηνχρήση υπολογιστικά γρήγορων μεθόδων που αναπτύσσονται με χρήση θεωριών κρούσεως στερεώνσωμάτων, γίνεται εκτίμηση της συμπεριφοράς των σωμάτων μετά την κρούση τους.Αναπτύσσεται πρωτότυπη μέθοδος για την ελαχιστοποίηση των αντιδράσεων στις αρθρώσεις τωνβραχιόνων και τελικά στις ρομποτικές βάσεις, κατά την διάρκεια των κρούσεων. Οι αναπτυσσόμενες αντιδράσεις ελαχιστοποιούνται με τη χρήση του Κρουστικού Κέντρου (ΚΚ) και αναπτύσσεταιμεθοδολογία που εφαρμόζεται σε δισδιάστατες και τρισδιάστατες κρούσεις. Εκτιμάται η θετικήεπίδραση της χρήσης της θεωρίας του ΚΚ σε ρομποτικούς μηχανισμούς στο διάστημα και εξετάζεται ηευαισθησία των αποτελεσμάτων σε μεταβολές των παραμέτρων της κρούσης. Προτείνεται μία μέθοδοςελέγχου για την αντιστάθμιση των αντιδράσεων που επιβεβαιώνεται μέσω προσομοιώσεων επίπεδουκαι τρισδιάστατου ρομπότ. Τέλος, προτείνονται οδηγίες σχεδιασμού και ελέγχου για την εφαρμογή τηςμεθόδου σε διαστημικά ρομποτικά συστήματα
