Abstract:We study pseudospectral and spectral functions for Hamiltonian system π½π¦ β² β π΅(π‘) = πΞ(π‘)π¦ and differential equation π[π¦] = πΞ(π‘)π¦ with matrix-valued coefficients defined on an interval ξ΅ = [π, π) with the regular endpoint π. It is not assumed that the matrix weight Ξ(π‘) β₯ 0 is invertible a.e. on ξ΅. In this case a pseudospectral function always exists, but the set of spectral functions may be empty. We obtain a parametrization π = π π of all pseudospectral and spectral functions π by means … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citationsβcitations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
