Oncologists’ experiences of and prerequisites for sickness certification tasks: A nationwide questionnaire study

Abstract: Although the number of people of working age diagnosed with cancer has increased in the last decades, the mortality has decreased (WHO, 2019). In Sweden, about 61,000 individuals were diagnosed with cancer in 2017, with a current 5-years survival rate of about 75% (The National Board of Health & Welfare, 2019).
