One Possibility for Atmosphere CO2 Purification to Get Climate Recovery

Abstract: Abstract:Our approach incorporates the possibility of stepwise CO 2 purification in areas of the free atmosphere by spraying of alkaline compounds inside the clouds via an airplane. It causes significantly increases of the СО 2 solubility in rain droplets during their gravitational fall to provide the effective carbon transport to the ground. Presented calculations show a considerable increase of the gas/water interface for perfect CO 2 absorption. This future technology can compensate for annual carbon emissi… Show more

“…Result calculations of the cooling zone according to nonstationary model (8)(9) As can be seen from Fig.2b the temperature decreases in surrounding media at the distance from the center of axe at Figure 1 as follows. The distance values for complete cooled zone are x 1 = 19; 14 or 9 mm approximately near CO 2 solid particle with its radii x 0 = 4; 3 or 2 mm accordingly.…”

“…The alkali causes significantly increases of the СО 2 solubility in rain droplets during their gravitational fall to provide the effective carbon transport to the ground, because concentrations of carbon ions in water are [HCO 3 -] and [CO 3 2-], they increased in 10 and 100 times accordingly by each unit of pH. This future technology can really compensate for annual carbon emission by method application at 0.1% of planet surface [7,8]. Motivation for rains usage, control and modification is obvious.…”

“…-] and [CO 3 2-] increase in 10 and 100 times accordingly by each unit of pH. We performed similar calculations assuming that we increase pH in atmospheric water droplets up to 10, 11, etc [3][4][5]. The total mass of carbon in 1 liter of water with pH = 10 is C pH10 = 849.1 mg/l, see row 2 in Table 1.The carbon compound culd be measured in water using one of standard methods, see [14] or ets.…”

“…Using algorithm and equations in [3][4][5] we estimate the minimal area at the Earth's surface, P(A) %, to be used for proposed technology and the corresponding details are given at the 6 th row of the Table. For our approach the method has to be applied on 2% -0.08% of planet surface, the proposed method can completely compensate the annual carbon emission.…”
