Abstract:In this research article, ethanol production has been proposed through the one-pot catalytic conversion of microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) over Pd-Ni/iron catalysts without any prior reduction under viable and inert experimental conditions. The Pd-Ni on iron oxide catalysts was prepared by facile co-precipitation and impregnation methods. Under optimized experimental conditions, the synthesized catalysts were systematically tested for efficient conversion of microcrystalline cellulose using H2O as a green sol… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
