One‐Pot Synthesis of ortho‐Hydroxycinnamate Esters.

Abstract

Hydroxycarboxylic acids (ether carboxylic acids) and esters Q 0450One-Pot Synthesis of ortho-Hydroxycinnamate Esters. -The target compounds are obtained from 2-or 4-substituted phenols by a one-pot procedure, involving o-formylation and subsequent Wittig reaction.
