“…Interestingly, the Cu 2p 3/2 XPS spectra are slightly differences of the catalyst prepared by different methods. The weak satellite peaks in range of 938–947 eV are assigned to Cu 2+ , which may be due to the oxidation of a small amount of copper nanoparticles during drying [11] . In order to further distinguish Cu 0 and Cu + , the Cu LMM Auger spectrum was measured (Figure 2(c), inset).…”

[11] In order to further distinguish Cu 0 and Cu + , the Cu LMM Auger spectrum was measured (Figure 2(c), inset). The dominant peak at 569.9 eV confirms that Cu 0 is loaded onto graphene.…”

“…Many other nonprecious metal-based electrocatalysts based on molybdenum (Mo), [176] tungsten (W), [177] iron (Fe), [178] and copper (Cu) [179][180][181][182] have also been reported. However, apart from the HER performance, their stability is a critical issue.…”

“…Therefore, PANI/noble metal nanocomposite would be a good way to exploit exceptional behavior of conducting polymers along with attractive characteristics of noble metal nanoparticles . PANI/Cu nanocomposites have been studied, aiming to produce materials with enhanced antibacterial activity, sensitivity, electrochemical activity, and so on, alongside improved electrical conductivity in comparison with pristine PANI . Therefore, these improved properties could be used to make PANI/Cu nanocomposites a good choice to be used as an additive in the production of multifunctional antibacterial and antistatic organic coatings.…”
