“…The conversion of sp 2 to sp 3 carbon reveals the intensity of the d band and the perfect arrangement of sp 2 graphitic carbons exposes by the intensity of the G band. The existence of a small peak in PdCu sample shows the E g and B 2g modes of metallic oxide bonds which formed due to the occurrence of surface oxides under air condition . Further, after loading of PdCu nanoalloy, the intensity of the D band increased more compared to CNT that gives the validation towards the incorporation of PdCu nanoalloy in the supporting framework of CNTs.…”

“…Similarly, as illustrated in Figure d, the peaks situated at 932.0 and 954.1 eV are assigned to metallic state of Cu and the weaker peaks situated at 934.4 and 954.1 eV suggest the existence of Cu II . The satellite peaks situated at 942.3 and 963.2 eV are corresponded to CuO which are caused by oxidation of Cu on the surface of PdCu NCs . Particularly, in comparison with the pristine Pd (335.0 eV, 340.3 eV) and Cu (932.6 eV, 952.2 eV), the binding energy of Pd 3d and Cu 2p of echinus‐like PdCu NCs exhibit positive and negative shifts, respectively.…”

“…The synthesized Pd 7 Cu 3 /rGO catalyst demonstrates a synergistically boosted electrocatalytic activity and stability, superior to commercial Pd/C. Moreover, methanol oxidation occurs with super kinetics with activation polarization occurring at a low sweep rate while concentration polarization occurring at a high sweep rate 132 …”

“…Moreover, methanol oxidation occurs with super kinetics with activation polarization occurring at a low sweep rate while concentration polarization occurring at a high sweep rate. 132 In the same year, Zhang et al followed a two-step method to fabricate anode nanocatalyst, Pd/Cu 3 P/RGO to utilize for methanol oxidation reaction as a Pt substitute due to its low-cost, high abundance, and CO tolerance. Besides, Cu 3 P/rGO support is easy to prepare and promotes fine dispersion of Pd-nanoparticles and results in surface area enhancement.…”
